- Well, now that i bothered everyone, here's the problem:

- Almost a year after I created my ptyp's and ttyp's, I have finally
- noticed that I had them swapped. It used to work fine that way, but
- certainly applications were working worse and worse, and it
- corresponded to changes in the pty code under linux. I kept
- suspecting that I had problems with them, but I kept checking the
- permissions, and they were right, and I knew that the minor number
- series started with 128 and 192, and that seemed right, so I never
- noticed that I had them BACKWARDS...
