- I have been trying to get X386 to run on my new Tandy notebuook PC
- with very limited success. X386 will start, clear the video display
- (slightly wrong, but assorted parameters are probably wrong) and then
- restores the display and exits silently. The output is identical
- to running the command with the -showconfig flag; the command does
- exit with an exit coe of 1.
-
- Is tehr some handy debug flag I can turn on to see what might be wrong?
-
- The system appears to have a Cirrus GL-GD6410-320C-A chip, and
- a TwinHead 6460B chip next to it right up against the external VGA plug.
-
- Has anyone any idea what if any chipset this Cirrus monstrosity
- (it's a HUGE chip) might be emulating, or have of the TwinHead?!?
