- This behaviour has much history. However, it is fixed in Solaris 2.x.
- The Solaris 2.x fix doesn't require that xterm or cmdtool be setuid
- root. The actual writing to /var/adm/utmp[x] is done by login. This
- is probably how it should really be done: does it really make sense for
- a terminal emulator to change accounting information?
