  22. The real confusion was that there *used to be* a bug in the
  23. man page for htons.  My 4.1 man page says htons is null as
  24. in my original posting.  The man page now correctly states:

  26.      On some non-ULTRIX machines these routines
  27.      are defined as null macros in the include file <netinet/in.h>.
