- I'm trying to boot a DS90TL via bootp/tftp from a DECstation 5000/200 running
- UWS 4.3 and with the decserver software off the DEC Ultrix ConDist. If I
- use MOP, the DS90TL gets the image fine. Problem is that I'd prefer to
- use bootp. By using debug on the bootp I can see it\s finding everything okay.
- But the tftp fails. Now, if I use tftp directly from another host, it works.
-
- The DS90TL messages are:
- Local -953- [IP] Attempting to locate load host [ETHERNET]
- Local -955- [IP] Host 134.193.1.2 located [ETHERNET]
- Local -903- [IP] Loading from host 134.193.1.2 [ETHERNET]
- Local -962- [IP] TFTP Error message received, code: 01 File not found
-
- So, BOOTP finds the entry, finds the DS90TL address and the load file. tftpd
- starts -r /path/directory but can't find the file.
-
- I've not used bootp/tftp much, so I'm lost at where to look next, particularily
- since tftp finds the MNENG1 file when I use it myself...
-
- Thanks!
