  14.     I've got a SVR4 (i860) system and am having one HECK of a time
  15.     trying to get the named to behave itself.

  17.     I can get it to request the files from the primary IF and ONLY
  18.     IF I make it the/a secondary.  However, I just want it to be a
  19.     client.  Should it load the hosts DB file if this is the case or
  20.     should it query the primary name server for each name it can't
  21.     resolve by itself and then maintain it's own cache of resolved
  22.     names?

  24.     If anyone's got the RFC #'s 1034 & 1035 (I don't have direct
  25.     access to the net {YET}) could they be so kind as to mail it to
  26.     me?  I'd REALLY appreciate it.

  28.     Part of what I suspect my problems are is that I don't have the
  29.     root.cache or the named.local files in the correct format.
