- The S3 805 port is not complete so till I don't complete it I
- don't recommend getting an 805.

- This figure is for my 486/33Mhz. However, on my new 486/50Mhz and
- my private XS3 server, I am getting the following:
-
- cpu: Orchid SuperBoard 486/50Mhz 256k cache 8MB (Vesa Local Bus system)
- card: Actix GraphicEngine32
- ide: Orchid IDE VLB controller $89
- note: these are a couple of lines from the iozone's results :-)

- The server's performance is going to be improved shortly :-)
- It is true that at higher dot clock the performance of the 801
- will degrade. The 928 cards are listing for about $350-$495 they
- should be generally available in less than a month. #9 is selling
- S3 928 cards and their number is 1-800-GET-NINE.

- With future support for shared libraries the 8Mb should be able to
- run X comfortably.
