  12.     I decided to replace my boot drive in my 2500UX box with a Maxtor 7213S
  13.   (213meg 3.5" drive).  The unit comes shipped from the factory set to
  14.   device #6. Leaving the drive set for #6, I booted from the Unix install
  15.   disk and did a complete install. Then I changed the jumper to device #0
  16.   and tried to boot.

  18.     The menu (old 020/030 accelerator style w/the 3 boxes (Ados, 020 Ados,
  19.   Unix) appears. However in the upper left corner it says "command bit
  20.   not set". (This message appears to come from the accelerator board)

  22.     Is it possible to make this combo (Maxtor 7213S - 2500UX) work? If so
  23.   how? Maxtor shipped the unit with IDE doxs so im kinda working in the
  24.   dark here.
