- Is there any way to encrypt passwords? I need for my daemon to be able to create
- passwords on the fly.
-
- We tried the newpass call, but it always wants terminal input, ignoring the values set in the password structure.
-
- We then tried the putuserpw call, but it does not encrypt the password; it puts an unencrypted password into the password file.
-
- Any help would be appreciated.
