- The perfect answer to your request for a TeX spell checker for
- Macintosh is Excalibur 1.2, a *freeware* (although not public domain)
- application that fullfills all your needs. In particular, it knows
- about the TeX and LaTeX syntax and does not complain on every
- \command...
-
- You can get it by anonymous FTP from sumex-aim.stanford.edu
- [36.44.0.6], file /info-mac/app/excalibur-12.hqx, size 402883, or from
- mac.archive.umich.edu [141.211.165.41], file
- /mac/misc/tex/excalibur1.2.sit.hqx, size 370664 (don't ask me why
- they're not the same size, but they have the same date).
-
- Both servers are also accessible by e-mail, however I could not find
- how to do it for sumex-aim. For help via e-mail from umich, send the
- command "help" in the letter text (not in the subject line) to
- "mac@mac.archive.umich.edu".
-
- I hope this helps.
-
- Best regards,
-
