  12. This involves Sun Solaris 2.x & Frame 3.1x - junk now unless interested.

  14. I have just installed Solaris 2.1 on my Sun Sparc and I can sucessfully
  15. run Frame 3.1x in 4.x compatibility mode but cannot print. Understandable
  16. since Solaris 2.x is SVR4 which uses the lp print mechanism. So I select
  17. print to a file, which completes (rather a little too quickly) but the 
  18. resulting file is in MIF format, not Postscript, which means the the 
  19. postscript driver/filter puked with no error message.

  21. I called Frame support and we tried some stuff with no success.

  23. Any clues??

  25. I know that 3.1.1Solaris will be out "real soon now", but if I could just
  26. get by until then (and I prefer not rsh'ing to a Sun 4.x machine and displaying
  27. to my Solaris 2.1).
