- I have obtained two Tandy CM-1 color monitors and a Tandy "Deluxe Graphics
- Adapter" for next to nothing. I was told that these were all CGA components.
- The Tandy Deluxe Graphics adapter is actually OEMed by STB Systems and is the
- STB SuperRES 400. I tried using both of these monitors with a different CGA
- card and they wouldn't work and I tried using other CGA monitors with the Tandy
- card and it wouldn't work. I don't have manuals for any of this. What I am
- wondering is do the CM-1 support some strange variation of CGA, using a digital
- RGB signal for 16 colors but supporting 400 lines of resolution rather than
- just the standard 200 lines for CGA? The text looks much sharper than other
- CGA monitors I have seen but according to things like Norton's System Info it
- is CGA. Anyone know? Anyone know a mailing address where I can address tech
- questions to Tandy about discontinued products (local Radio Shacks weren't much
- help) Anyone have the specs for the CM-1? Does it sync at 15.75KHz like CGA
- does or is it different? I'm wondering because I only have one card and two
- monitors.
