  11. What's the memory configuration for the new LX and Classic machines?
  12. i.e. number of SIMM slots, kind (width, speed) of SIMMs, do SIMMs have
  13. to be added in groups of 2 or 4, can memory be heterogenous, etc.

  15. Based on what I've been able to get out of confused marketing types,
  16. sales literature, etc., here's my guess for the LX: 6 SIMM slots, 33b
  17. wide SIMMs (X33, same as IPX and ELC), supports 4Mx33 (16MB) and 1Mx33
  18. (4MB) SIMMs, SIMMs must be added in homogeneous pairs, SIMMs can be
  19. mixed otherwise, the machine comes with 16MB installed as 4 4MB SIMMs.
  20. I don't know what speed SIMMs are required.
