- Hello Suners and SGIers,
-
- OK! I couldn't think of anything else for a title... anyways... on
- with better and bigger things...
-
- Having the January 1993 BYTE almost in front of me... there is an
- ad from Sun showing their SPARCstation LX at 59 mips. I know! I
- know! I know! Mips are meaningless... but still... can be really
- impressive!
-
- My question to you is this: What does SGI has to say about that
- workstation? Does SGI has anything similar to it? And for the same
- price? We have many Indigoes here at the University of Montreal...
- and I am more than satisfied with their performance...
-
- I would just like a comparison between the Sun and a similar
- product from SGI...
-
- Thanks in advance
-
