  11. re running on something as fine as a UNIX-based workstation, but such realities
  12.  are sometimes necessary (like when you have $1000-2000 incvested in DOS softwa
  13. re, you don't simply throw it away, hoping you can afford the UNIX equivalent).

  15. So, what are the solutions for SGI hardware? I know SoftPC exists, but I've
  16. never been overly thrilled with its performance. On a SPARC station, I can
  17. actually buy a PC-on-a-board, and through it into one of the SBus slots. Is
  18. there an equivalent for SGI equipment? I'm considering purchasing an Indigo,
  19. but would be more inclined if there was a robust way to let me run my DOS
  20. software also.
