- I know...I know...why would anyone want to sully themselves and have DOS softwa
- re running on something as fine as a UNIX-based workstation, but such realities
- are sometimes necessary (like when you have $1000-2000 incvested in DOS softwa
- re, you don't simply throw it away, hoping you can afford the UNIX equivalent).
-
- So, what are the solutions for SGI hardware? I know SoftPC exists, but I've
- never been overly thrilled with its performance. On a SPARC station, I can
- actually buy a PC-on-a-board, and through it into one of the SBus slots. Is
- there an equivalent for SGI equipment? I'm considering purchasing an Indigo,
- but would be more inclined if there was a robust way to let me run my DOS
- software also.
-
- Any suggestions/comments welcomed.
