- This is known to work on some systems and not others, it may be different
- revs of the Sun (actually a Sony) drive though.

- It is in EFS format, as are all of our installable CD's so far.
- There was a program posted here called efslook, which could be
- compiled on Sun's (at least) if you copied some SGI header files
- there, and you could then extract the files in a manner similar
- to the mtools DOS stuff into a directory. Then you can do a normal
- remote directory install.
-
- If you can't find efslook, I'm sure the author (not at SGI) wouldn't
- mind if I repost it.

- | 5. (haha, new idea:) the CD is copied from the remote
- | (HP drive/750) raw device via dd to an Indigo raw
- | disk file (/dev/rdsk/dks0d2s6). mount fails and fsck
- | doesn't like the raw disk at all.
-
- Yep, bring up sash, and copy partition *7* (not the whole thing).
- 7 is the file system partition our installable CD's.
-
- Assuming CD at ID #4, and spare partition 7 on drive 5), do
-
- cp -b 31k dksc(0,4,7) dksc(0,5,7)
