- SGI people,
-
- I'm new to SGI's and to unix. My boss just got a used Indigio with the
- GR2-Elan board. Since he doesn't have internet access he wanted me to
- find out a few things. He wants to do some type of computer animation,
- but does he need a VTR? Or is there some way to play the frames fast
- enough without one. Secondly, how does the genlock port on the back
- of the machine function. Does it go in, out or both ways? Is the
- hardware necessarily installed just because the port is there? When
- I try to use the Genlock Confidence Test it tells me I have no hardware
- or software is not setup. Thanks for any help to this strugglin
- beginner.
