- Hello,
- This is the scenario:
-
- I rlogin into the SGI machine from a SUN 4 machine. In the SGI window,
- I cannot use the <Delete> key. Instead what happens is that that prompt skips
- to the next (sort of like hitting the <Return> key, except no command is executed).
- The only key I can use to delete or backspace, is the <Back Space> key. This is
- frustrating because the key I am used to is the <Delete> key.
-
- How can I resolve this problem? Is it a matter of setting some environment
- on the SGI side which accepts the <Delete> key? On the SGI, I only have the
- <Back Space> and on the SUN terminal I have both <Back Space> and <Delete> keys.
- Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. BTW the SGI is running IRIX 4.0.5F.
-
- You can send responses to my e-mail address.
-
- Thanks!
