- The January 4 issue of Communications Week has a front page
- story with the above title. It starts:
-
- Proteon Inc. will announce in March a multi-protocol router that
- will double the packet-processing rate of the company's current
- multiprotocol router and house twice as many interface cards,
- industry sources said. The new router, called the Communication
- Network eXchange 600, will forward a maximum of 50,000 packets per
- second and will offer either five or six slots for interface cards,
- the sources said. (If anyone would like a copy of the article,
- please, let me know.)
