- I am upgrading a NWLITE server to NW311 10 user system.
- I am trying to set up a new server with an IDE drive (Maxtor 200MB). I can
- delete the old DOS partition, create a 2MB DOS partition, then run server,
- load IDE.DSK (the latest from NETWIRE), then load install. When choosing
- disk options and then partition tables, I get a message to the effect that
- Netware can't find any drives and suggests to load the disk driver. I have
- tried ISADISK (the latest downloaded from the ftp server) with the same results.
- Anyone have any suggestions of what might be wrong?
-
- After talking with my dealer, I found out about some undocumented switches for
- IDE.DSK and ISADISK.DSK (/b for instance). Any one know a source for
- information on these options? I darn sure don't want to go through the agony
- of rebuilding this old NWLITE server again because I don't have all the
- information I need to get NW311 working.
