  POWER OFF DISABLED...  THEN WHAT ?????

    As a paranoid system administrator, I welcomed the
'PowerOffDisabled' option from the loginwindow program. However, it
is true that when such an option is set, it is not that convenient to
shutdown the machine (the plug is too far under the desk !)...
    Reflexively, I did a 'man loginwindow'. And surprisingly
enough, there were man pages for that (there wasn't any in NS 2.0).
It is suggested that in such a case, root should create an account
called 'power' (whatever !). They mentioned that this account should
have the following default:
    loginwindow Workspace "/etc/fasthalt -p"

My questions are the following:
1) do you have the !@*&#^!&^% fasthalt on your machine ??? I really
can't     find it on mine !!!
2) if it's a typo, what is the command I should use so that 'power'
    actually performs a shutdown without the need to be
super-user
    (which would corrupt security greatly !).

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I think the answers should be
posted as it may interest many of the system administrators that we
are...
