- According to the lead business story in today's New York Times
- ("Hewlett and Next Hold Talks"), both are quite possible. The article
- said that HP and NeXT are looking into letting NeXT use HP's PA-RISC
- chips, letting HP use NeXTSTEP, and allowing HP to purchase a share of
- NeXT. It's unclear from the article where negotiations stand, but it
- did say that an announcement could come as soon as this week.
