  16. My 8/105 workstation is connected (via serial A) to an HP LaserJet IIIp  
  17. printer using a "Turboscript III" postscript emulation cartridge.  This  
  18. cartridge is supposedly 100% compatible with Level 1 Adobe postscript.  I've  
  19. tried a variety of PrintManager and printcap settings, but can't seem to get  
  20. the printer to work.  I did get one page printed from mail o.k., but couldn't  
  21. repeat it, and had no luck printing from other applications.  I've used  
  22. printcaps for LJIII, LaserWriter, etc., checked the usage notes, NextAnswers  
  23. and FAQs, all to no avail.  Sometimes the printer will give me an "Err: 34,  
  24. flushing" error, which I don't understand. I did try saving some output as  
  25. EPS, transferred it to my PC, and printed it from my PC with no problems.   
  26. However this workaround won't work very well on a regular basis.

  28. Does anyone have any clue what might be wrong?

  32. Does anyone have experience with this printer and a different font cartridge?   
  33. What cartridge do you use?  Could this be a cartridge problem?
