- Here is a tough question which I hope someone can answer.
-
- I have all the Letrafont range of fonts on our server. I have to lock
- them to stop piracy (part of our agreement with Letraset) - not that
- AppleShare is so secure, but still......
-
- The Local Hard Disks have their own smaller set of fonts. I want to give
- access to the server fonts, and we did this with Suitcase. One of the
- great things with the old version of Suitcase is that you could lock it
- and any font added (say from the server) would be forgotten on next
- startup. This is real important in a Lab situation.
-
- Now with Suitcase 2.XX it has lost this ability, now you can create
- "permanent" sets etc. Fifth Generation say there is no answer (yet) but
- that they have noted the question and will look into it.
-
- Does anyone have a solution? Or a better idea as to accessing the fonts.
- Oh, I tried to make aliases, and whilst you could make them, aliases and
- fonts don't work together.
-
- Thanks for the thoughts.
