  14. I posted about the folder problem yesterday.  A few hours later, the
  15. Macintosh software frequently asked questions (FAQ) posted, so I checked
  16. on about the folder problem.  Here is follow message from FAQ.

  19.  WHY CAN'T I THROW AWAY THIS FOLDER?  (9.2)

  21.        Possibly the folder contains items that are locked or in use
  22.   and can't be thrown away.  Turn off file-sharing (if it's on) and
  23.   quit all applications.  Then try to throw the folder away.  If that
  24.   doesn't work and you're using System 6, hold down the option-key
  25.   and drag the folder into the trash; or, if you're using System 7,
  26.   hold down the option key while selecting "Empty Trash" from the
  27.   special menu.  Holding the option key down lets you throw away
  28.   locked items.  If that doesn't work restart the computer, hold down
  29.   the option key, and try again.  If you still can't throw away the
  30.   folder, try throwing away the items in the folder (if any) one by
  31.   one until you find the ones giving you trouble.  Remove them from
  32.   the folder, and then throw the folder away.  If you still can't
  33.   throw the folder away, you've discovered a "Folder from Hell." 
  34.   Create an empty folder on ANOTHER disk with the same name as the
  35.   Hell Folder.  Then copy the new folder onto the same disk in the
  36.   same folder as the Hell Folder.  Click "Yes" when asked if you want
  37.   to replace the Hell Folder.  Now you should be able to throw the
  38.   just copied folder away.

  42. I followed all of the processing, but it's failed.  Because it was kept
  43. dialog appear.  Here is a few list of dialog that I recevied.

  45. 1.  The folder can't be deleted.  The folder are in use.
  46.  
  47. 2.  The command could not be completed because the file not found.
  48.  
  49. 3.  The command could not be completed because an error of type -127
  50.     occurred.

  52. 4.  The command could not be completed because an error of type -1805
  53.     occurred.

  55. The last processing in FAQ appeared the dialog number 1 and 4.  Now,
  56. what I do with the stupid folder?

  58. NOTE:  -127 means Internal file system error.   I can't found -1805 on
  59. the system errors 7.0.1
