- Think servers, especially those that allow volumes to span physical drives
- or servers. Apple's minimum file allocation block size doesn't apply to them.
- Besides, some people actually need _large_ volumes; some people regularly
- work with a large number of files, each in the range of 50-70 MB. BTW,
- there are some storage devices suitable for use as Mac volumes which are
- more than 2 GB.
