- I'm having a weird problem... maybe someone here would have an idea?
-
- I have a old-fashioned TextEdit field in a window. I use TEInsert and
- TEKey to insert text in it. Everything works fine, except that under
- certain reproducible circumstances, those two functions will just move
- the TextEdit cursor forward the proper amount instead of printing
- text. I can't figure out what's common about the circumstances where
- it happens yet, but I'm not changing any of the properties of the
- TextEdit field after I set it up.
-
- Sometimes some of the text becomes visible again when I move a window
- to cover it up then move the window aside, or scroll the text out of
- view then back into view, but sometimes it stays invisible, although I
- can select it and cursor through it as if it was there.
-
- I'm stymied. There's nothing unusual I'm doing that would make text
- invisible, but chances are I'm just overlooking something. Has anyone
- had a similar problem before, or heard of this happening?
