- You can't go wrong with the Quantum 240LPS. From reviews of externals it
- seems to be the best drive. Word of warning though. The formatting software
- and driver have an effect on performace. I just ordered an internal version
- of the drive. What I don't know is which formatting software and driver come
- with the drive. I have SilverLining and in the past when I run performance
- checks on the 80 meg and 105 meg Quantums it reported that the Apple Driver
- was the best to use. I'll have the new drive in a few days and post what
- SilverLining finds on this drive.
