- A friend of mine (actually my brother) would like to get started with
- MIDI on his Mac Plus and Powerbook with a Casio 710x keyboard. I told
- him he would probably need to get a MIDI interface and that Finale seems
- to be highly recommended. Not being a regular Mac user myself I couldn't
- give him specifics on what interface to buy or where.
-
- I believe he wants to do some simple sequencing and transcription would be
- nice too. If there is an FAQ list on this subject or anyone has some advice
- on what's good for a beginning setup, please let me know. I've found the
- really inexpensive packages like Dr. T's Tiger Cub are easy to outgrow.
