- I have a new LCII. The manual (Users Guide) apple supplies seems to be
- pretty sorely lacking important information. I would like to have an
- explanation of error codes, and also explanations of the various standard
- extentions and control panels (some are covered, but not all). Is there
- any archived file(s) covering these things? How about docs available from
- Apple?
-
- I was trying to find out something about an extension called "Caps Lock"
- which I found, not in my extensions folder, but in my Control panels folder.
- It's with the control panels on the install disks too. If I click on it
- the computer asks me if I want to put it in the extensions folder. So I
- said yes and it moved there but I still have no idea what it's for or where
- it really belongs.
-
- Also there was a menu item for selecting keyboard layout next to the finder
- icon. I have lost it, don't know how to get it back, and there is nothing
- about it in the manual. Help!
