- This should read "Some soldering required, and you can really screw up your
- motherboard trying this, so only do this if you are very confident of your
- ability to muck about with a multi-layered board and all and pry the stupid
- crystal off without putting yourself out $900 for a new motherboard..."

- Yeah, right. Just you whole flippin' motherboard...
-
- I have a IIsi, and I have the sockets and heat sinks ready, just waiting on
- the crystal, but I don't think this should be sold to your average Joe Blow.
- I mean, no real hacker is going to pay $115 for the stuff when he knows he
- can get it for $5, with the exception of the fan, which may not even be
- necessary... All the instructions are freely available on the net. But, I don't
- think that this speed solution should marketed to the non-hacker, because there
- is a VERY real danger of breaking your computer to the tune of HUNDREDS of $.
- Doesn't everybody remember that guy that wrote on the net a couple of months
- back when this was a hot topic, and he had TOASTED his IIsi trying this?
