- I'd like to ask any of you out there with a MacWeek sub or a
- ticket stub from Mac Expo for any info you may have on Apple's
- expected new lines in February.
-
- Our library's copy of MacWeek
- is routed through a few slow-reading bozos before it appears on
- the shelves, so I'm at least two months behind in the printed
- rumour. I've been monitoring the net as best I can, but info
- has been rather sparse (if I'm wrong, please let me know and
- point me...)
-
- What do I want to know? Well, specs, SRP's or HEPP prices, and
- whether or not the models should have a good desk-life for NEW
- applications.
-
- Oh yeah, my situation:
- My wife and I are currently sharing a Mac SE....and looking to
- upgrade. After looking at the IIsi bargains, we have decided to wait
- until mid Feb for Apple's new offerings, particularly the new
- 25mhz LCIII for my wife and the 040 Centris 610 for me (that's not
- chauvinism, I'm just a little more into the computer world than
- she is).
-
- Neither of us, as grad students, is particularly rich, so
- whatever purchase we make will have to last a good long time in
- terms of software support.
-
- We'd both appreciate any help anyone can offer.
-
- Thanks.
