- I'm looking for ways to backup user hard disks (mostly 40 meg) which people
- would actually use.
- Floppies are a little inconvient and the folks here tend not to back up. We
- have a 9 track tape
- drive connected to our sun, but people tend to stay away from using it to back
- up their macs.
-
- My thoughts were to look into a 155 TEAC tape, but do not wish to purchase 10
- - 15 of them. Our
- mac network is LocalTalk, so I do not know how well this would work for
- network backups.
- Also because of a security problem with unauthorized users, I'm leary about
- leaving the machines on
- and doing an unattended backup over the weekend. (Someone is playing with them
- over the weekends)
-
- Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
-
- Thanks
