- The rep must have been mistaken. There is no 19.2kbps standard for
- data transmission. There is 14.4kbps (V.32bis) and with compression
- (V.42bis) you can certainly achieve rates between the DTE and DCE of
- 19.2kbps. (Actually you can run at 38.4kbps for the DCE to DTE
- interface which I'm doing now, but the Unix side of this connection is
- only 19.2.)
