- The IIvx CAN'T drive the 16" monitor in ANY mode. The 16" monitro recognizes
- signals for 832x624 mode ONLY (not a multisync). The IIvx internal video
- produces 640x480 signals ONLY. It's IMPOSSIBLE to hook the 16" monitor on
- the internal IIvx. I think that what you saw was :
- - either the 16" Apple monitor running on a video card inside the IIvx.
- - Or a multisync (like the Sony 16") connected to the internal IIvx video but
- running at 640x480 resolution, but it won't run "beautifully" (maybe that's
- what you've seen given that you said 16bit color and there's no enough VRAM
- in the IIvx internal video for 832x624 at 16bit color).
