- Motorola has a "castered" version of the 040 chip. I think it's the 680LC40
- or something like that. It doesn't provide FPU functions (maybe there's no
- FPU core inside, or the internal FPU is disabled, really don't know, and
- it doesn't matter). I personally think it's a very wise policy given that my
- main Mac activity (word processing, small software development) doesn't need
- any FPU calculation.
