  18.   Motorola has a "castered" version of the 040 chip. I think it's the 680LC40
  19. or something like that. It doesn't provide FPU functions (maybe there's no
  20. FPU core inside, or the internal FPU is disabled, really don't know, and 
  21. it doesn't matter). I personally think it's a very wise policy given that my
  22. main Mac activity (word processing, small software development) doesn't need
  23. any FPU calculation.
