  24. My friend and I each got a spare battery and a floppy bar from 
  25. ComputerLand of Delaware in their going-out-of-business sale a couple
  26. of weeks ago. (My friend actually bought his 210 there at the same time,
  27. it was $100 more than educational, but the lack of sales tax made up
  28. the difference).

  30. I have not however seen the floppy drive itself, or the minidocks, yet. I
  31. am using the system with the floppy from my 100. I sold the 100 to another
  32. friend who doesn't need the floppy (he is using it as a library-trip machine
  33. and offloading over apletalk to his quadra.).

  37. Now my big question is why-o-why did e-machines decide to not pass through
  38. the internal modem port on their minidock?  I called them and they said
  39. "Well, we figured that when you are docked, your on a network, and you have
  40. access to a big fast modem on yournetwork".  I can't believe they assume
  41. every docked duo is on some giant net! What morons.  It would have cost them
  42. about $0.50 in parts to pass through that port.
