  27. I have the internal version of the same drive in my IIvx.  So far it works
  28. fine.  I haven't noticed any problems and it seems reasonably fast.

  31. Here is a rundown of the disks included though they may not bundle the same
  32. disks with the external.

  34. From Alice to the Ocean - very nice photos about a womensand narrations of a
  35. voyage in Autralia from the town of Alice to the ocean by a woman travelling
  36. herself.

  38. Kodak Photo CD Sampler

  40. Mac Games Sampler - an amazing number are included. I did find a minor
  41. problem with this disk. It comes up with a "run time" only version of Easy
  42. Access.  When quiting the machine will always bomb.  Work around by opening
  43. the samplers from their folders directly.

  45. Mozart String Quartet (I forget the number) - Has a companion HyperCard stack
  46. which analyzes the piece.  The audio portion can be played on any CD player.

  48. Nautilus Demo Disk - Demo of the features of Nautilus which is a monthly CD
  49. publishing of Shareware etc.  The Windham Hill (recording company) sampler
  50. had some MTV like Quicktime tracks.

  52. Kids Story - I forget the name, but the program "read" the stroy as the pages
  53. are turned. Slick, but for young beginning readers.

  55. Apple CD source book - A complete listing of CD ROMs currently published. The
  56. drive also came with a nice hard copy of CD publications.

  58. There is one more disc, but I can't recall what it was.  All ther disks came
  59. in a nice wallet type notebook with sleeves for the CDs.

  62. One other observation was when audio CDs are played the volume level seemed
  63. too low.  This is probably a decision on Apples part to not overdrive the
  64. internal speaker of the VX.  This may be different with the external drive or
  65. if I connected to external speakers.
