- Apparently, Apple will replace Sony drives that have the stiction problem.
- I'm not sure if this program is available in Canada though. Check with an
- Apple authorized service centre (Computer Maintenance at 2-5516 or the
- Bookstore Computer Shop at 2-6618). Be sure to be ready with your
- computer's serial number and any relevant id info from the drive itself.
- My gut feeling is that the drive must stick before being replaced.

- That's a reasonable approach. A complete plug and play case with power
- supply, case, and cables can be purchased for $100-$200 mail order. Check
- Mac magazines such as MacWeek, MacUser, and MacWorld.

- Get the case. When you have mo' money, you can either pass the 40MB
- external to someone else or get a big internal drive to replace either of
- your two 40MB drives.
