- I got a IIvx 5/230CD In late December; Apple Canada received a large shipment
- of IIvi & IIvx computers at this time. The MacWeek of 12/07/92, however, reports
- that availability will be 'constrained' on the IIvx until mid-February. I guess
- that CompUSA is simply waiting & hoping that they get lucky and get some
- machines from Apple. Apple is simply having trouble making enough computers;
- the CD might be the Achilles heel in the process if they can't get ahold of
- enough from their supplier.

- On another note...I took the lid off of the IIvx to look inside. Earlier I had
- commented to my girlfriend how stupid it was that there wasn't an activity light
- on the CD -- hard to tell if there's a crash since it's slow -- and of course
- there IS an activity light: only it's covered by the IIvx case...i suppose you
- could drill a hole for it!
