- Am interested if anyone has or knows of any data or studies regarding MAC
- hardware reliability where MACs are powered up and down once each day
- versus reliability where MACs are never powered down. Am interested from
- the perspective of power conservation in offices where large numbers of
- MACs are used approximately 8 hours per day and remain idle the rest.
- Bottom line question is, "Do MACs show any greater failure rates when
- powered up and down daily versus never or rarely being powered down?"
