-
- Initially I upgraded to 25Mhz (i.e. using a 50Mhz osc to replace the
- 40), and my machine ran extremely reliably without a heatsink for
- several months.
-
- I then found a suitable heatsink, and upped the speed to 28.6 Mhz by using
- one of the dot clock oscillators on the motherboard used to provide
- the video timing for the full page (A4) displays (this is 57.xxx Mhz).
- This has now been running for several weeks with no problems.
-
- N.B. I have no expansion cards, and your mileage (kilometerage??) may vary.
-
- Regards,
- Paul
