  14. Am I the only one who did not realize that the current Hewlett Packard
  15. "Fame and Fortune" rebate, heavily advertised in Mac publications, and
  16. offering a $50.00 rebate to the purchasers of a DeskWriter for the Mac
  17. does not apply to the 550C?? I called HP, got the forms, filled them out
  18. and got them back 3 weeks laters with a note attached to them stating
  19. "invalid product/model number".... A call to HP revealed that the only
  20. products to qualify for the rebate are the Desk Writer C and the Desk Writer
  21. (products # C2113A and 2279A). The 550C (C2124A) is not included in the
  22. rebate offer.
