  13. Since the original Mac LC has only 256k of VRAM it cannot display 8bit
  14. color on the 13" (or 14") Apple Monitor.
  15. My question is:
  16. Is there any software method which simulates a 12" color monitor on a 13"
  17. one (e.g. by using a smaller visible area) in order to run programs
  18. that require 8bit color?
