  12. Does anyone know if it is possible to have Excel update External database
  13. through DAL on the Mac?  It can query and paste data from the External
  14. database with no problem.  But, I can't find any documentation as to if it
  15. is possible at all.  The external database is an Oracle 6 database on a VAX.

  17. I tried issuing the SQL statement 'insert into emp values (...);' in the
  18. query tool of Excel.  It doesn't work that way.

  20. I tried using the Data Form of Excel also.  Excel complains that Forms can't
  21. be used with External database.

  23. If it is not possible directly, has anyone tried writing a Macro of some kind?
  24. Any hint or example or information is very much appreciated.
