- I've got a bit of a problem, which I've been trying to solve on my own to
- no avail, so I appeal to the wisdom of the net ...
-
- I'm trying to get ahold of a copy of "Zen & the Art of Internet". Simple
- enough, right? Well it seems that I can only find it either in .tar format
- or .ps format. Fine. So I go to sumex-aim.stanford.edu and get Tar 3.0
- to convert the file.
-
- Well of course it doesn't work. Various error messages. Chaos. Fire &
- brimstone. Ok, I say ... I'll try to print the PostScript version. Makes
- sense. LaserWriter is a postscript printer. NOT. 35 pages of raw PostScript
- code later, still no luck.
-
- So now I ask you. How do I print a copy of Zen & the Art of Internet onto
- paper? How do I convert .tar files to Mac text files, or .ps files to
- files which my piddly little Mac can interpret?
-
- Please e-mail replies to scb1@midway.uchicago.edu. Thanks a million!
