- In Excel 4, I published a chart that was embedded in a worksheet. This worked
- fine, and I was able to subscribe to it. Later, I wanted to change the
- options for that publication, so I went back to Excel, expecting to find a
- "Publisher Options" menu somewhere. Wrong! According to the help, it's in the
- "File/Links" menu item. One selects the type of link (Publisher) and then
- clicks the Options button to set options. I did this, but the Published chart
- shows up as an Excel Link (not!) and I cannot apply Options to it.
-
- If I double-click the embedded chart, and Publish it from it's own window, I
- can apply Options to it as a Publisher, but it's appearance is not as it is
- when embedded in the worksheet (which is the appearance I want Published).
-
- So, how can I Publish a chart so it's appearance is as when it is embedded in
- a worksheet, while retaining the ability to edit its Publication options? Is
- this a bug or a feature?
-
- Thanks-
- Rich
