  13. The app gets launched from whichever disk was mounted last, and on a particular
  14. disk, the first entry in the DeskTop file is used.

  16. This has the really obnoxious effect of always launching an application from
  17. a fileserver even if there is a copy of the app on your hard disk.

  19. I haven't found any predictable way to reorder the entries in the DeskTop file.

  21. A "third party marketing opportunity" would be a Finder Hack that lets a user
  22. manually pick out which application they really want launched, and have it
  23. remembered.  If it can't be found, then the Finder would continue its search
  24. path.
