- If you are willing to hack, the expansion chassis for the Sharp PC6220 range
- is suitable for use with the SHARP PC6600 / TI Travelmate 3000 range.
- I picked up a PC6220 expansion chassis pretty cheap and use it every now and
- then. There are a few bits which have to be removed from the chassis so that
- the computer will fit mechanically. The power supply connector on the
- chassis into the PC6600/TI-TM3000 also needs to be changed.

- I had noticed that the VGA display stayed active but not the bit about the
- mouse activity. I must try it out.
- I have always been disappointed about the apparent high power consumption
- while the unit was in standby mode. This I put down to the activity of
- the VGA controller and memory which seems to be the hottest part of the
- computer. (put your finger on the parallel port)
-
- WHY? a full shutdown was probably more expensive to implement.
