- My old Compaq LTE 386/s20 had this problem. It would actually get un-
- comfortable after 1/2 hour or so. I have a newer Compaq LTE lite 25c
- and it doesn't have the problem. Seems to be related to where the cpu
- chip is located and how the heat is routed away from it.

- Windows creates a swap file. If you don't exit windows normally, or if
- you tell windows to create a "permanent" swap file to prevent having to
- create it each time you start windows, you will get such a large hidden
- file. You can remove it if you want, by unhiding and unsysing it and
- then deleting it via del. If you are powering off with windows up,
- DONT... you are taking a chance on corrupting everything. Stop windows
- first. If you are exiting windows first, you must have (unknowingly) told
- windows to make the swap file permanent. You can change that... see the
- manual....
